Each month, at 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm, we hold three separate workshops in the meeting room at Revolution, Deansgate. Each workshop lasts about 45 minutes to an hour.
The workshops are free to attend, and included in the cost of admission to LAMchester.
Prior to these, at 1:00 pm, we have our Newbie Meet and Greet.
The perfect way to settle those nerves.
The crew will introduce you to LAMchester, explain the thinking and philosophy behind our events, outline our code of practice and the do’s and don’ts for visitors, and give you guidance and advice on how to get the most out of the day.
There will then be a tour of the venue, led by members of our amazing crew who will be happy to answer any of your questions.
LAMchester workshops October 2019
2:00 pm: Introduction to the LAMchester kink reading group
3:00 pm: “Healthy Mental Practices”
This is a regular discussion-based workshop that is an open Q&A around the psychology of and around BDSM, relationships, mental health for BDSM practitioners, and anything else that affects you.
Feel free to bring in a question or topic to be covered (anonymously, if you wish) and then TheKinkShrink will give her opinion before opening it up to everyone.
Topics vary month to month according to what the attendees bring up – e.g. drop, setting a scene, dealing with anxiety, how to re-spark things, “why am I into this?”, – anything you can think of that is related to kink and psychology.
The Kink Shrink is a practising therapist with a private practice and has been part of the Kink Scene for many years so has lots of experience and some stories. It’s often funny too.
Please come and grab a seat early as it’s often standing room only for this one.
4:00 pm: “Spanking for Pleasure and Pain”
A practical demonstration of the skills and techniques involved when hands meet bottoms.
